This month I have decided to do a 30 day plank challenge. I am almost six-months postpartum and sadly haven’t been to the gym on a regular basis since my pregnancy. Luckily with having a very busy little boy and breastfeeding, I have had no problem loosing the baby weight. But my core is not even as close to as strong as it used to be and nothing is near as tight as it once was.
Benefits of the plank:
~Strengthens your midsection, upper-body and lower-body muscles along the front of your body
~Strengthens your inner core muscles that support your joints
~Helps increase flexibility
~Stretched the arches of your feet
~Stretches muscles that commonly stiffen throughout the day and contribute to stress
So, with the warm weather upon us and swimsuit season here for the most part, this is a great exercise to add to your daily routine to help tone and tighten.
